Take off the rear plastics, and fender
spars with only the 4  spar bolts and the
center bolt. Save these four bolts to
re-attach your new spars.
Once the rear fender spars are removed, place the fender assembly on the tire, leaving the spar to
fender bolts loose. Support the fender with a small block and slide the spars over the frame
mounting lugs.
Install the spacer onto the spar bolt, between the spar and frame. Repeat on the other side.
Now tighten the spar bolts and fender bolts in a criss-cross pattern, aligning the fender.
This shows the lug to be trimmed from the top of the side
cover. The lover push-lug holds this fender should be drilled
to allow for a safety clip to retain the cover. also trim the tab
from your fuel tank that held the frame rail cover before
painting.
