cross-member of the extended swing-arm.
Next up for,, mounts for the vintage '70s era
shorty wheelie bars compliments my friend
Gordon Liska who makes the ultimate
replacement for  worn plastic-centered
Kawasaki cam chain gears
(stock p.o.s. on the right compared to Liska
on Left). We also will replace the cam
bearings with 16 new ones.
This is Malik's 1977 KZ1000. I have a just installed a Wiseco
bigbore kit, WebCams, Liska Gears, MRE Airshifter . The
engine is painted and ready for it's layer of freshly  chromed
engine covers and powdercoated details.
A Vance and Hines sidewinder & vintage smoothebore's will
set the theme for this drag framed low rider.
It will see some modern touches too,,like an MRE air-shifter,
150  rear tire, late model brakes and long, long, long swingarm.
Out front the frame is getting enough rake in the neck to clear
the sidewinder and make it super stable at speed.
I'm making the lowering blocks,,
these are for a 3" drop. The right
way to lower a front
suspension,,,completely internal
and fully functional.
Clubman bars,  just
'cause they're so fn' kewl.
The polish / green will continue into the paint, a
ying/yang  inspired split silver , mountain green.
