In Loving Memory of our Father
Bob Gower
Our Loss Is Great, His Spirit Lives
I'm Shannon, the basic designer and head wrench here.
Most folks call me Shoe (Hotshoe), a tag given to me by my Dad who brought me
up in this industry, Uncle Bob Gower, in Tulsa Oklahoma.
Growing up in and around his shops, by age twelve I was working with him as a
class "C" Suzuki franchise mechanic, quickly followed by low buck short track, drag
& road racing efforts. Putting together chops and street racers from a champagne
BSA's Goldstar to smooth-bore fed GPZ. I learned a lot and loved it all.
Since then I have built and modified countless motorcycles, toured Europe as team
tuner for the Bimota / OW01 Superbike Team in '88-'89 campaigning not only the
superbike, but also the RG500, RZ500 and an RGV250. During these years I
attended every manufacturers school & Lemco seminar possible.
Afterwards I have been the service manager at the states largest dealership, then
building and tuning on my own in New Jersey  in 1990.
From powdercoating to degreeing cams to frame construction. I do it all with pride.
Over the last three decades I've learned a lot about what makes a bike work, and
continue working. My Bikes RIDE! I truly love what I do, taking every detail of every
job I do personally. Taking the time to find what YOU want,  finding the right way to
express your personality through your machine. This is what sets my work apart.
This is my ol' Chevy (named Joe). My kids Colton and Chelsea helped
me for 8 years get it to this point.
It was a longbed that I shortened 21" and boxed the frame and added
about 50 small chrome skulls, then Antonio and I added a TCI subframe
with tubular A-Frames, Airbags, Disc Brakes and Power Rack and
Pinion. Dave helped me with re-assembly and the Billet Specialties
column and steering wheel. I've replace all steel from the dash to the
cab corners. 3" widened fenders and tubs finish the body.
Powered by a '70 4 bolt .040 over 400 wearing World Heads, Lunati,
Holley, Edelbrock , Mallory and JE's that Chelsea powdercoated all the
trim in clear Chevy Orange over Chrome. She also tore the motor down!
It's backed by a '70 TH350 and a deep posi rear carrying 17" wide
Goodrich radials on Billet Specialties wheels that match steering wheel.
